Apesar de toda essa amplitude, muito do que se experimenta nas vastas plan\u00edcies amaz\u00f4nicas \u00e9 a observa\u00e7\u00e3o da natureza a partir do solo ou do rio. O gavi\u00e3o-real, maior ave de rapina do Brasil e uma das maiores do mundo, tamb\u00e9m habita por aqui e, para ter o privil\u00e9gio do avistamento que as aves possuem da floresta e dos rios, surgiu a ideia de oferecer outros \u00e2ngulos de observa\u00e7\u00e3o. A uni\u00e3o de proporcionar mirantes nos pontos mais altos do hotel, com mais de 15 metros de altura, e propiciar o visual de um dos mais belos cen\u00e1rios do p\u00f4r do sol no Rio Negro e das ilhas do Arquip\u00e9lago de Anavilhanas, batizaram o Mirante do Gavi\u00e3o<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Inicialmente, o lodge foi concebido para atender ao embarque e desembarque das opera\u00e7\u00f5es dos barcos da Expedi\u00e7\u00e3o Katerre Ecoturismo<\/strong><\/a>, baseada em Novo Air\u00e3o desde 2004. Com poucas acomoda\u00e7\u00f5es, o Mirante do Gavi\u00e3o Amazon Lodge<\/strong> passou de ponto de apoio a protagonista, quando seu projeto arquitet\u00f4nico, de autoria do Atelier O\u00b4Reilly<\/strong><\/a>, recebeu diversas premia\u00e7\u00f5es em 2014, ano da abertura, atraindo boa parte das aten\u00e7\u00f5es de seus \u201cirm\u00e3os mais velhos\u201d, os barcos. Assim, as confort\u00e1veis instala\u00e7\u00f5es e o Restaurante Camu-Camu, com a assinatura da Chef Debora Shornik<\/strong><\/a>, ganharam conceito e p\u00fablico pr\u00f3prios.<\/p>\n

Em 2019 o Mirante do Gavi\u00e3o<\/strong> foi ampliado, alcan\u00e7ando um total de 13 acomoda\u00e7\u00f5es. A reestrutura\u00e7\u00e3o contou com a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de mais \u00e1reas sociais e atualmente a estrutura de lazer do lodge oferece aos h\u00f3spedes: sala de estar, red\u00e1rio e jogos, espa\u00e7o wellness<\/em>, mirantes para o Rio Negro<\/strong>, piscina e o lounge do restaurante, um dos locais preferidos dos h\u00f3spedes. Toda a estrutura foi idealizada, planejada, projetada e edificada para dialogar com o entorno.<\/p>\n
