Quando visto em voo, as cores mais notadas s\u00e3o o marrom ferrugem da asa e do corpo, em geral, e o cinza da cabe\u00e7a. This adaptation allows it to lean on its tail while climbing tree trunks. Its wings are copper in color, as is its tail. Part of the chest is painted white outlined in black. The other part of the chest along with the belly is pale brown, the head is brownish-grey with many white \u201cspots\u201d outlined in black. When seen in flight, the most noticeable colors are the rust brown of the wing and body, in general, and the gray of the head.
