O restante da plumagem \u00e9 bem parecido entre os dois, coroa e a face com a colora\u00e7\u00e3o azulada. As prim\u00e1rias s\u00e3o preto fosco. A cauda \u00e9 relativamente curta, de colora\u00e7\u00e3o verde azulado met\u00e1lico e apresenta a extremidade arredondada. O ventre, crisso e as penas sob as asas s\u00e3o castanhos. A parte inferior da cauda \u00e9 escura com uma tonalidade azulada. O bico, delgado e longo podendo atingir mais de 5 cent\u00edmetros \u00e9 inteiramente preto. A \u00edris \u00e9 marrom escura. As pernas s\u00e3o de cor amarela ou verde acastanhada e as garras s\u00e3o negras. Alimentam-se basicamente de insetos capturados em v\u00f4o a partir de um poleiro. The male has a black chin and white throat, while the female has a suede throat and chin. The rest of the plumage is very similar between the two, crown and face with a bluish coloration. The primaries are matte black. The tail is relatively short, metallic bluish green and has a rounded tip. The belly, chrissus and underwing feathers are brown. The underside of the tail is dark with a bluish tint. The beak, slender and long, reaching more than 5 centimeters, is entirely black. The iris is dark brown. The legs are yellow or brownish green and the claws are black. They basically feed on insects caught in flight from a perch.
