The beak is short and light in color, with a broad base and small curvature at the tip. Alimenta-se de frutos e insetos em revoada. \u00c9 mais frequente observar as f\u00eameas dessa esp\u00e9cie acompanhando bandos mistos, j\u00e1 os machos nem tanto. Habitam a copa e as bordas de florestas \u00famidas e bosques at\u00e9 uma altitude de 1500 metros. S\u00e3o observados com mais facilidade quando pousam em galhos expostos de \u00e1rvores mortas.<\/p>\n
