Costuma ser encontrada em pequenos grupos na copa das \u00e1rvores das florestas, na sua borda, em planta\u00e7\u00f5es e clareiras com \u00e1rvores altas. Males have a discreet light yellow spot on the forehead. In both sexes, the plumage is mostly turquoise and black. It is a basically frugivorous species, but they also eat seeds and insects that they collect in the foliage. It is usually found in small groups in the treetops of forests, on their edges, in plantations and clearings with tall trees.
